I was pretty pissed off with how my ‘best friend’ was treating me, By bumming off all my old friends and not speaking ot me. when I’m the one who invited her out anyway, so i figured i had about £3 credit on my phone.

So i rang Pandy and spoke to him for a bit. He was talking about his comic collection which generally made me smile anyway. about half way through the conversation i was deep into the forest of the big park. This forest is the most gorgeous thing ever. well, i think it is. And it’s kind of known to have a huge log hidden away among grass. (god knows how that fell down it’s so huge it must have been shot by lightning) Seriously if you stand on this log, it’s so high up you feel like you’re ontop of a cliff. But, the conversation with Pandy ended abruptly as my credit shrank to zero point zero, zero. so, i went back down to my ‘friends’ borrowed their phone to tell pandy my credit had gone then i put the phone down and went back into the forest.

I was on my own and it was near sunset so, the sky was light pink with orange tips and the clouds were kind of framing it. But i went deeper into the forest looking for the path i recognise that takes me to the log. i climbed under the branches and it got darker and darker but sudden;y i was there.

I saw the HUGE uprooted tree infront of me and i climbed on it. (with some difficulty) an gasped as the sky looked so… amazing. Now, i haven’t been out the house in a while - just been sitting in on the laptop. So, it was refreshing to see how beautiful it was. I walked to the edge of the tree trunk and i knew if i fell, i’d get stuck by 15 billon nettles and falling all the way to the ground would no doubt kill me. But for that moment i didn’t care. I stood and breathed in the air around me and i swear for one moment i was flying!

Suddenly a gust of air came from behind me and blew my hair into all sorts of shapes around my face. dancing around with the wind. it blew hard and cold on my back and it felt so awesome. I looked up at the sky… and for the first time i knew how it felt to be alive.
